Beach Maternity Session

It's always a thrill to photograph expecting parents. The excitement of what's to come and the anticipation of welcoming their new baby always creates delightful imagery. This lovely couple met me on picturesque Honeymoon Island State Park, to capture the magic of her pregnancy on (and in) the Gulf of Mexico. This mom-to-be was absolutely radiant and I love to see that natural beauty emerge in my photos. We planned wardrobe changes so that I could shoot several poses nestled under the canopy of trees on the beach, and at the end, moved into the Gulf for photos at sunset. I am very proud of these incredible pictures in particular, as I believe they truly capture her strength and the true splendor of motherhood.

With Mother's Day coming up on May 13 this year, I encourage all of my clients to consider a family photo shoot as a special gift for her. When you dedicate time and energy to capturing the love in your family, the photos and memories will last a lifetime. With two grown children of my own, I still make it a priority to keep our family photos fresh and fun.
