Universal Miss Oregon

While on our U.S. Tour,  This Fashion Photography Session was held in Cannon Beach, OR. Taking advantage of such awesome monolithic rock formations jetting out of the water including the famous Haystack Rock helped to set one amazing backdrop for our session. 

During this session we worked Makayla Whitaker-Universal Miss Oregon. Mak was an exceptional model and a joy to work with and her personal story is that of inspiration. She was an adopted child born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and crack exposure. She has battled her prenatal exposures her whole life proving to be resilient and never quitting. She helped as a caregiver to her adopted mother battling cancer for 8 years proving her personal desire to enter the medical field. She is now a senior at Beaverton Academy of Science and Engineering studying Biomedical Science already on her way towards a nursing degree. 

Jessica McKnight has had the opportunity to work with many talented people and professionals and enjoys working with and meeting so many new people as she travels and photographs both on her tour and locally in Clearwater. Fashion sessions are one of Jessica's favorite types of sessions not only allowing her photographic talent to shine but also her vision and imagination as she is able to coach and coordinate with wardrobe, style, and overall production of the project.
