Sweet Elopment On The Beach

Sometimes less is more when it comes to weddings! Elopements, sometimes spontaneous, sometimes planned, are such an exciting time and I couldn’t be happier to capture these special moments. I’d say that small ceremonies are even more important to photograph so family and friends who aren’t there can experience the big day too. This couple, photographed at Honeymoon Island State Park in Dunedin, Florida, couldn’t have been more psyched about their simple ceremony at one of the most stunning beaches in the country.

I like to play with natural backdrops to highlight the bride and groom’s accessories - and I was in love with their casual approach, his converse tennis shoes and her glitzy accents. When the sun finally set and the ambient light emerged, I was thrilled with the golden light that illuminated our session. There is nothing more beautiful than the glow of this gorgeous couple on their special day. What a treat for me!
