Skylar in Roswell

While on her U.S. tour, Jessica McKnight worked with her multi-talented client Skylar while in Roswell, New Mexico. Skylar seems to do it all from welding to being a rancher, to yoga, modeling, and being a mother. Skylar was an absolute joy to work with and we enjoyed this session in so many ways.

The session started at a local ranch just on the outskirts of town full of horses, cows, chickens, dogs, cats, and also a pecan orchard. The ranch portion of this session was a new element for Jessica McKnight to get to work with both Skylar and her horses. Skylar showed her love and affection for her animals throughout the session.

Just as the sun began to set we traveled up the highway about 15 miles outside of the city of Roswell to Bottomless Lakes State Park. This park was just gorgeous to see the bright red rocks with their sedimentary layers wrapping the road and the multiple "bottomless lakes".  The lakes aren't actually bottomless and range from 15-90 FT in depth but are formed as a result of spring fed sinkholes. This state park made for some amazing images and was a great way to wrap up the day with such a wonderful sunset behind Capitan Mountain.
