Princess Merida in the Storm!

A few months ago, when Maddison scheduled her fashion photoshoot in Clearwater, we had no idea it would land right in the middle of Tropical Storm Alberto! After some discussion, we decided to go for it—and I’m so glad we did. I’ve worked with Maddison before, and not only is she fearless, but with her striking red hair and bold presence, she looks just like Princess Merida from Brave!

During the shoot, I discovered a part of Sand Key Park I hadn’t explored before—gorgeous rocky outcroppings along the Intracoastal Waterway. With the Gulf of Mexico churning, waves crashing, and powerful winds whipping through, the atmosphere was nothing short of cinematic. Instead of shying away from the storm, Maddison leaned into the intensity, bringing even more energy and charisma to the session.
